My 18's are ET 42... They might rub  But they don't stick out... MY old 16's were ET 42 too, and rubbed a bit on one side... But thats to do with the tolerences to which Corsas were made to.

thanks for the advice guys, I've thought it over and I'm going to hold tight and
save up for some 15's, getting 14's probably not going to be different enough
from what I've got now - cheers

they wont stick out cos they are so narrow.
i have corsa c 16" sri rims, they are et 40, but as they are only 6 " wide rather than most 16's that are 7 or 7.5 wide they dont stick out atall.

They shouldn't scrub, but will stick out and look strange.

I'd not get 14", get 15" at least to make a noticable difference. Just cos thee cheap doesn't mean its the best deal for you :)

Seen some nice irmscher alloys this afternoon, 14" with et42 offset.
Dealer offered me at near cost price as they're old stock they've got
left over and want to get rid of.
Will these go onto my corsa B ok? (Standard offset is et49).
At the moment I've got 13" steel wheels and 165/70/R13 tyres.

What's the widest tyres I could put on these irmschers?
(Car's been lowered 30 mm on eibach prokit springs/eibach dampers).
