stat was stuck open on the cally when i first got it.
made it run a little nasty, never got warm, no heat through the blowers, temp gauge never moved, and it drank fuel like a mofo.

replaced it (half hour job with coolant flush) and it runs way nicer, hot air, and reasonable fuel economy again.

not really, if the thermostats bust, then it just takes longer to warm up.. it the coolant temp sensor is bust, your car will over fuel...

both relativly inexpensive.

any of these expensive? Can i fix em myself if the thermostats stuck open could this be bad for my engine?

Moves about 0.5cm from off the clock to barely touching the Ooc line :|
