nah mate i meant the alternator is a little slack rather than the belt if u get me :S lol

I thought the belt is meant to be a little bit slack?! :boggle:

went to change alternator belt lastnight and noticed the alternator was not fixed tight, the bolt which you tighten the belt with was tight but the one on the back (other side of timing belt) had play from there, i know there is a rubber bush thing there but dont know if it should move as much as it does - if at all.

Anyone know and able to help out,
