This one retails at $140, its a custom made ss 1, I got it for $50 because Ive been back 2ice with a prob with the cat>system join on my new ss exhaust, that's y its a double flange joint. My exhaust aint loud anyways (Midsport tone), if it sounds like a tank, the guarentee says if I dont like it and have a valid reason I can have it put back the way it was. I was told a 5-10% increase in power and torque too???

its an extra 7bhp on the C20XE though apparently, which is pretty good for the cost of a bit of pipe, and legally i dont need a cat cos its a 1991 engine. I am worried about what it might sound like though. :S

Im getting decat on mine this weekm, but its loud enough as it is. Can i just get a bigger silencer or something put on? And how much louder does a decat make it?

I'd like to hear all your oppinions on de-cat pipes, I've been offered one by Longlife exhausts for £50, that's with a flange joint at either end and at either end of my cat, for easy replacement at MOT Times. Are they as good as made out to be and what's the deal with the law? |
