i destroyed my sensor when i had my accident a while back
along with my radiator, front bumper, front panel, grille, adn cross brace,
they ordered three of the sensors cuz they kept getting lost between leicester and wigston
its like 4 miles
how?

problems just happened to me so will be hard wiring the mfd in argh

yep very true i've had this prob myself didnt know it would cause a temp indication prob i just lost all power to the MFD

yep very common problem with the MFD, the pins get loose because its not designed to be diconnected and connected again and again and so it needs resoldeiring back onto the circuit board, tricky job but not too hard :thumbs:

other reason may be the MFD - when i replaced the bulbs of my MFD it sometimes show - -- and sometimes the right temp. so it was the connector for the mfd itself. you have to take out the mfd and resolder the connector inside the mfd

the sensor may have gone, its mounted right at the front of the car just behind the bumper. Have a look at that and see if it looks dodgy, and u could try replacing it should think it'll be that

keeps cumming up with - --(dashes) whats wrong with it?
