on my Pioneer 77MP it allows me to change the frequency hops for the radio (ie: america/europe etc)....so it might still work :) Although i would have a butchers on the pioneer website for the manual (usually in PDF format) and see what it says. Also contact pioneer about it....but im sure you can also get converters? (just remember someone saying something about them...but dont hold me to that)

if he gets the newer alpine's it lets u change over the frequency setting to europe and the radio will work, but make sure u check it has the feature of letting u change over

US radio works on 1MHz spacing whereas EURO is 0.5MHz so tuning could not work as well

hi guys, my g/f's bro wants to out this headunit in his calibra. (i know not a calibra website) the Pioneer DEH-P9600MP

the only thing is, he is getting it from teeh US, could you please please tellme if he has to change anything (connections, ariels radio frequencys) before it fits into the car? or any problems he may have of it working over here?? :o
any help will be massively appreciated, thaks
