once ya have fitted it use a hair drier to completly dry it off this worked fine for me | |

The wipers can go over the sunstrip, the sunstrip just can't effect how the wipers clean the window (which, if fitted badly, it could). But yeah, you'd be better off with it professionally done | |

Would it not be better to get it done proffesionally at a widow tinting place. I was quoted £25 to get one done, and at least you'll be able to see through it. | |

You'll fail the MOT if the sunstrip interferes with the wipers cleaning the window, but fitted properly it shouldn't. | |

No more than 25% of the windscreen can be obstructed. I think that's the rule, MOT-wise. But covering that much just looks stupid anyway ;) | |

normally the problem is you don't leave it for long enough, the first time i only gave mine 30 mins and it flew off at 60mph, second attempt left it 5hrs and had no probs at just over 100, well until MOT time... | |

sounds like the glass might still have been damp from you cleaning it earlier (or wot u cleaned the glass with actually reacted with the glue on the sunstrip?? | |

OMG right ok i recently fitting a sun strip. all fine no blubbles seem to be down properly. (I cleaned windscreen etc). |
