sounds like dodgey instructions to me, i fitted my mantzel power box and its exactly the same really, the fuel tank vent valve, fuel pressure regulator, egr, cam cover breather all need to be connected, one vacume pipe goes to the fuel tank vent valve the other is left where it should be, i will have a look at lunch to see where the second one goes, but im 100% on the rest,

but then the instructions only say connect the MAO sensor and fuel pressure regulator.....

ok, so the fuel tank vent valve has two pipes - which one goes where, depending on which one u connect to the vacuum it whirrs like it has a motor inside!!

breather on top of the engine is connected into the vacume circuite as well, and the whole vacume circuite is run from the brake servo vacume pipe which should go into the tourqe tube with a connection to plumb the fuel tank vent valve, cam breather, egr and fuel pressure regultor in

guess it means that the egr assemble has to be removed, do they do two types, one for c16 and one for x16? sorry i dont know much about the vacume pipes, could u not just get some t pieces and commect them all up

red and blue thingy is the fueltank vent valve, just get 2 x t pieces and split the vacum hose so every thing is connected

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Few things really concerning vacuum pipes...

The instructions say only connect the MAP sensor and Fuel Pressure Regulator.. So what happens to the EGR 'thingy'? If this does not have a vacuum on the 'liquice allsort' end will it throw up a fault code? Also theres a little unit that has a blue/red plug on it and two pipes which at the moment is doing nothing (located where the throttle body used to be). Any ideas on what this is and does it need to be connected? And finally, a thin plasticy vacuum that seems to be coming from below the brake fluid reservoir.. Does this need to be connected? Oh and also the breather pipe on the top of the engine??

Phew.. Essay.
