Yeah its incorrect earthing, this is usually a common problem when you can here something that sounds like your head unit "working" so to speak.

if the 6x9's are connected to the headunit and the sub is connected to an amp then it would be the amps earth at fault.

hhmmm sounds like a grounding fault but that would affect the 6x9s too :S

Hi all, any suggestions why my sub makes strange sounds even when there is no music playing but the headunit is on? There is like a constant noise and when i select the next track on the headunit the sub makes a lil sound?
Any1 any suggestions Plz!!:look:
