best way to do it is remove paint, weld a plate on, matt fibreglass it, then a skim of filler. | |

The metal you will weld over shouldnt really be any thincker than .5mm thick... Mine isn't too heavy, and I never got the boot lifters upgraded... | |

No matter how u do it will be heavy... most cars lifters within bout 3 inches in length.... carry measuring tape to scrappies and see what u can find... Estate cars a good bet for strong lifters, My C has mondeo estate lifters... | |

you need to weld a plate in, done any otherway is just crap. the bootflush pannels will just sagg and look crap | |

a good bodyshop will use a sheet of steel welded over it, but people say that the corsas boot arms cant take the weight of it, might have to look into that :) | |

How much will it cost to flush a tailgate and is it best to get the numba plate recess filled wiva body filler or get a sheet of steel weilded over it?:o |
