My infinity comps give out excellent sound, they offer good bass and great high frequency sound. they sound great with my infinity 6x9s but you realy must amplify them out you will never get the best out of them.
Good luck mate:thumbs:

Kappa is better than reference, maybe his were just shit, but they were awful.

In my post above m8 if u click on the name of the speaker it takes you to the page selling them!!!

I run the exact same setup rob, but with the perfect 10s for bass. the coaxil's dont give much bass at all tbh.

im after these for the coupe

getting infinitys 6.5's comp's in the front and then 2 way coaxils in the rear door card as I dont want subs.

figger the 2 ways would provide a lil bit of bass in the rear if set.

I disagree with Adi on this one. I run infinity comps in the Tigra, with infinity 2 ways and 2x infinity perfect 10's in the boot and they are very good.

Sound and quality is very good for the price imo.

Don't rule them out.

Thankyou for all advice. I will have a look into the phoenix golds.
Any one know anywhere good to get them? (Live In cambridgeshire) Or Websites?

Everyone seems to reccomend infinities but my experience of them is that there shit!

My m8 had a set of the comps in his saxo and my £50 alpine comps pissed all over them.

For that money best bet IMO is either

Phase Linear 165.20

OR

Phoenix Gold Octane R 6.5

They are both about £85

Was thinking about infinity's but will they fit in, as I have heard that there are problems with magnet sizes?

Hello All,

I have got sony components in my car at the moment and the tweeters have blown, again. So I have decided to buy some better speakers.

I have a budget of about £70 - £80, and was wondering what would be the best speakers to get? I am after clear sound, so I can have more vocals up front. I will be running them off a 300watt sony xplod amp.

Any help would be much appreciated.
