i got that alarm, mine has been screwing around lately, damn thing goes off for no reason.

Yeah I've disconnected my alarm to reset the ECU a few times and my Ai606 has been fine.

my alarm goes crazy when i dissconnect the battery, bloody loud too when bonnet is up :lol:

once reconnected it should go back to previous settings before it was d/c :D sorted

The ai606 doesnt have a cut off swich, my battery has gone flat (for various reasons!) many times and its been fine once re connected.

yer, should be fine mate, you should have a little key thing for it, normally goes in the back of the siren, hole prob covered with a rubber grommet

it's a cat 1, toad a i606, so all i need to do is disable the alarm then disonnect battery, do what im doing connect back up, and enable the alarm again?

depends if the alarm is cat 1 with battery backup, if not, it wont go off when you disconect power.

you should have an overide key with it, to disable it.

Will the alrm go off when disconnecting the battery, anything i need to do first? And what about data? Anything be lost? :-s Dont wana be screwing my alarm as i wana be able to get in my car :lol:
