nice one, will deff be inconact with you shortly mate, first of course i need to get insured.

i have another minor prob, the temp guage doesnt move i dont know if this is the thermostat or the actual sender

i cant see where the sender is, the sender being the one for the dash needle

feck me so with a few simple mods (or is it more then that) you have upped the power from:

66bhp -> 99bhp
97lbs -> 132lbs

thats like uping the power nearly 35%

btw im the same dude who was talking tu on Mig kris, if ur dad is interested in making a couple of quid one weekend i wouldnt mind changing the cambelt and maybe i could met u, lol i need some help with all these mods cant afford to bust something up.

but either way seems like there is huge power available from a couple of tweaks

mine is running a proven 99 bhp
as for emissions, it depends, i spent ages getting a smoke amount i was happy with, tuning td's is all about how much smoke you can put up with, i could easily get more power from my engine but it would pump out loads of black smoke. just turn fuelling down for mot if your worried, it takes 30 sec to do that.

heya,

i know firstly that this is in the tutorials but the pics are down for some reason, anyways i just wanted to ask going all those mods to the isuzu lump does it affect emmisions at all?

i would like a faster TD but obviously dont want it to fail the MOT :boggle:

anyways doing those mods listed do they really boost performance, i have the engine based in a mk3 astra obviously the 1.7tdi (dunno what standard power is though?)

also anyone good at doing cambelts locally?
