you need a split charger. This is about £80 and most ICE stores should be able to get one for you, it splits the charge from your alternator to allow you to havea 2nd battery.

anyone got a guide on how to rig up a second battery to run extra bits from. I want to have it charge from the main one when running with no issues on the normal setup.
