not a case of affording subs I just dont want one. its an astra coupe and apparently subs make the rear parcel shelf jump around like the fuckng house of pain. thinking infinitys front and amping em to a rocky amp then infinitys rear. whats fusion and spl stuff like? never heard it much

if you cant afford to have subs in the boot, i would go for some 3-way comps up front (Focals, Rockfords etc) and some other comps in the back (infinitys, alpines or sticking with same brand that you got for front) and get the biggest size comps for the back as well...to get the bass etc :)

I have just ordered some infinity comps 6500s from www.cel-direct.com these are rated at 90 w rms, so woould be great with an amp. on this website there also 60 quid cheaper than some shops , i.e bassjunkies have them at 150 cel-direct there up at 89 :D

Right I know about wiring and shit however!!!!

I havent kept in touch really on which stuff is best buy nowadays

theres a set of infinity components and some phoenix gold components I have seen on a certain website. However with me having the coupe now I arent doing no subs in the boot so want all the sound I get to come from the components which I will install and a second set of rear speakers - whihc I havent decided on yet. now this setup with eventually havea headunit ( obviously ) running thro it plus a 7" screen with PS2 + dvd player so want sound to be pretty crisp!.

recommendations - p.s running it off an amp!

so basically what I am asking is for opinions on what people have got as in speaker wise!
