I think they are 18mm. I used an adjustable resting on the brake disc and a 12" long ring spanner. Drivers side is the easiest ;)

mine is L reg. I've applied the WD40.
Actually, i wanna know what's the size of the nuts? so i can get a long spanner.

get a long bar and slide it over the ratchet handel that will give you a bit more leverage,

also get a mate to hold the spanner at the other end

+have you jacked up the hub as this seems to help as it takes off some of the weight

what age is your car??

I've tried to release the bottom nuts holding the front suspension. Can anyone give me some suggestion to release them? or just go to garage to release all the nuts and i fit them myself:boggle::boggle::boggle::mad:
