turns out wen the cam belt was changed the wire that leads to the camshaft sensor was routed thru the wrong way rite next to the cambelt pulley:! | |

It shouldnt have been removed orr touched for a cam belt change. If it is faulty I have one here I'll sell you :) | |

When you take the two screws out of the sensor, or putting them back in, make sure you don't drop one into the lower belt cover like i did! | |

oh ok, so its inside the plastic cam pulley cover on the left hand side! | |

undo the 3 star drive bolt on the cam cover, pop it foff and you will see the sensor pointing at the paddles on one of the pulleys | |

If it's an ecotec then it's behind the cambelt cover, inbetween the cams, if it's the 8v engines the it's on the dizzy | |

ECU light came on and stayed on, so i did the pin test and got code.... |
