Usually behind the alloy, when the hub is. I have 17" et37 and there is no rubbing on the arches on full lock, but some modding was need on the rear arches | |

Well if the offset is too high (the wheel sticks in too far) you could buy spacers to make it stick out further, that should work. but depending on the offset of the wheels spacers may be a bad idea because it increases the chances of rubbing on the arches | |

the 40 is the profile mate, it should be on the actual wheel somewhere.... for 17's the offset gotta be 42->49 without cutting ur arches back.. correct me if im wrong | |

The offset is dependant by the wheel, its NOT on the tyre | |

40 or 42 i think, i offset the one which is on the tyre where it says 205/40/17 | |
