Well the problem I'm having it finding an ECU with the coded key and transponder as they dont work without all of the bits together!

I've got an ECU i brought sat next to me and im off to see the guy I brought it off 2day to sort out the rest of the other stuff hopefully to get it all working!!!

Does ur's come with all of the above (ECU, transponder, coded key) out of intrest incase this falls through?

Cheers

lol take it from me it doesnt!!!!

I tried it out in the end to makesure and when i turned the ignition on the ECU started to smoke!

LOL as u can imagine the car was swiftly turned off and the ECU removed and waved about!!! luckily no damage to the ECU or the my wiring loom but it was scary!

So remember kids C16XE ECU's DONT fit X16XE engines :P

Depends what manifolds are fitted? Is it a full c16xe conversion or just the block? How do you know the ecu wasnt swopped?

u would need c16 loom but y do it would be better with full c16 as these have different cylinder heads and r more tuneable

it it does work the ECU will constantly show an error code because the C16XE has an air flow meter which the X16XE does not.

I can get my hands on a C16XE ecu which comes without the immobilisor.......will this work ok on my X16XE?

Not bothered about the immobilisor just wanna know if the two are compatiable :)
