	if you go on www.talkaudio.co.uk and get in contact with zimsounds, he does 200a alternators deliverd to your door for £250 :thumbs:

	so what car shall i look at gettin a 70a alt from, and will it be big enough for a system thats running 1600 - 1750RMS

	I can get 120a ones but they do need modding to fit, involves a bit of bracket fabrication.

	I remember a post bout alternators a bit ago where some1 (cud hav been Corb) said they were gettin this really good lookin high end alternator for about £500!! (Was very nice tho, lol) Some1 posted that a company sells 120a 1's for just under £200. Who ever u r tell the lad where u can get em from plz!

	Its rated at 150a but can put out around 190 tops.

	hmmm was told the new alternator wud be about 200 quid thats reconditioned...cant remember wat rate it was tho :( this ice business is breakin my heart an bank balance!!

	how much is it for a 70a one and fitting is easy?? i'm gonna be runnign around 1400rms so will a desil battry and 70z alternator be ok, with a cap?

	Im guessing you have a 55a alternator then. You could upgrade to a 70a with no problems, or you could get a nippon denso 150a one for £500, or you could steal andypsgwide's :lol:

	anyone ever done this in the corsa?? was runnin genesis mini block and dual mono then changed mini block for mono block... to run my 2 12" m5's (8 ohm dual voice coils) local ice dealer has recommended i upgrade alternator and battery and possibly fit power cap to install in order for me to get the mono block to full welly an run 1 0hm... can the alternator be upgraded easily like to another vaux one or wat?? not sure of the details!
