if wheels are the right offset then spacers will not be needed :) | |

Get rid of 17's and get some nice lightweight 15's or 16's and drop it 60mm on FK coilovers :) | |

i'm running koni's with courtenay 2.0l springs on the front and eibach -30mm rears. ride is ok if a little bumpy, better with the 2.0l springs on now. | |

if u can afford the coilovers get them, however a kit of lowering and higher poundage springs and shortened dampers will be sufficient | |

ive currently got a 1.6 16v Gsi and am thinking of getting it lowered all round with a 40mm suspension kit for now.... |
