if you want SQ , u cud do a lot worse than a single 10" JL10 W6 V2 or a 10" RE XXX sub. Both will give very good sound and more than enuff bass for a small car!
Wish i had got one of the RE's myself.....

im finkin bout gettin the alpine MDR-M1000. will that do a good job with the subs?

Agree m8, this is the big problem, people think they can buy big subs then power them with £50 SPLX amps and it'll all be fine...

I think not, as said if u dont want to spend a fair whack on the amps, dont buy big power subs.

You should be expecting to pay AT LEAST £500 for a decent amp for those.

If you cant afford the amps to power em you shouldnt buy the subs.

2 kicker 10''L5 solo-baric subs?
fink they got 600Rms each.
dont really wanna spend too much on the amp.
