If it's the Spi, then it's on the side of the TB, it's got a wide flat plug (4pin) gogin in to it, with two T20 torque screws holding it in. unscrew them, then clean out the chamer for it, and clean the valve itself, then WD the little bugger make sure you get it up in to the solenoid of it then relace and start the car. If you want to get it to move then take off the rubber pipe connecting to the TB and cover it paritall with your hand so you restrict rthe flow and cause the idle to drop, it will then cause the ICV to move and compensate, make sure it's ok, they can dye after a while though.

its a 1.4 8v (not SRI) where is the idle control valve? and how do i clean it?

my engine sounds like its running to fast when its idle, im not sure what revs its running as i dont have a rev counter, anyway to get it back to normal? :boggle:
