i measured the gap and ive got 195mm x 110mm to play with
im only 17 so i have little experience with fiberglass etc
i was thingin of gettin the dash pannel and display housing from a car breakers and doing it to that so i dont bugger up my car, wheres the best place for the hazard switch to go as its quite a beefy thing

For the DVD player, you could get something like this:

All you would do is get a single din tray (about £5 from halfords) and mount that wherever its suitable for you as if it was another headunit.

The screen usually comes with a backing plate or you should take the back off the screen which you would fibreglass into the existing place of those vents. Dont forget you are going to have to relocate the hazard switch/relay also, you cant just get rid of it otherwise your indicators wont work.

You should be able to fit anything up to 7". A 7" widescreen would be best.

just wondering if you could give me a hand with a few Q's about a dash install, i want to install a screen in the centre of my dash where the vents are in a corsa B. What size screen can i install, how do i go about fixing it to the dash, i realise im guna have to chop and mould the dash to fit it smoothly.
Also does anyone know of a cheap in-car DVD player - not the headunit type - just one i can stick in the glovebox
