Well theres loadsa earths on one car, so you need to determine which one it is. The AA man found out by trial and error, but the trouble is we don't know where all of the earths are.....

Mine did the same thing last week mate. Was sat in McDonalds carpark and then tried to start the car and it didn't :( Had to get my sisiter to come a meet me with jump leads.

I put a new battery in it last week as there was supposidly a fault in my battery when I took it to my dads mate a the Merc garage down the road from me. Works ok at the moment but we'll see in a few weeks!

Im not running ICE so cant be that!!!

Poped into vauxhall about 1hr a go and have booked it in for Thursday for them to look at - they said it could either be battery or electircs ???

I thought batteries lasted years??

Anyways - when i went to vauxhall the car started first time and when i came back it started first time - so least i should be able to get home

if it needs a new battery then there will be something wrong, a new batt should last at least 4 years!

ye but if he's runnin ice then that drains the battery a fair bit

WTF is that all about....

I hadnt left any lights on or anything,

Car unlocked fine.... put the keys in and lights on dash came one - went to start and nothing!!!

Took keys out - put in again turned them and lights blinkering and going mad
Alarmed started going off etc.... then just died!!!

Dad jumped me and car started....... got me to work.

Is it the battery - do i need a new one??

Help / advice PLEASE!!! :(
