not a big job, doesnt need to be done, but helps, will improve handling. you just stich weld metal to cover the engine bay, they paint over top. I would presume mounts ect will have to be re drilled :boggle:

a bet a garge would charge about £150 at a guess coz am sure u have to take all the engine out....well obviously as u need ot put the turbo in:lol::lol:

so why not get a mate with a welder to do it:):thumbs:

yes seem welding isnt really essential, you do notice a better quality of handling and also doesnt strain the front bodywork as much under engine twist, i havent seem welded mine.

you need -

2litre driveshafts
wheel hubs
brake upgrade and possible rear discs
good tough suspension setup
engine and gearbox mounts to fit the turbo engine
if you have power steering,12 or 16 corsa you'll need the bodywork mount

thats the stuff you will need to just handle the 2litre turbo lump, there is other things you need to help it fit and work properly too

Yeah - seam welding will also reduce flex under all that torque, thus improving handling
