If you significantly change the cars driving style, ie. wragg it about for a bit, it wil make the CAT smell.

Should lessen over a few weeks/months,

it smells yes but farts smell also. ur body recyles badness and u fart it stinks. your car recycles badness and it too also farts out the zorst. and it smells
