i'm trying to install a central locking kit and wondered what the box was that is sitting behind the driver kick panel

i think i'll try taking it out then and see what happens!

i have bought a central locking kit anyway so I can use the bracket that is there with luck - wahoo

probably is central locking in that case.
defo 10000000000% certain its not an ecu.

haynes says that the ecu and central locking boxes are in there.

I don't have an ECU (apparently) or central locking - no cables going into the doors etc.

All I can think is the box is for the central locking with none of the rest of it installed?! ever heard of Vauxhall doing this as they have not put anything else in the car that was not part of the original car?

if you really want to find out you could unplug it ( temporarily ) and see what doesnt work ? :!

if so is it the turquoise box behind the bonnet release catch?

if not - what is that box doing?
