dont get a cap
its a waste of time, uprate your standard batterry to start with and also uprate your battery to chassis, engine to chassis and alternator to battery wires with 4awg wire at least. If you listen to the stereo alot without the engine on then go for a split charge but if you listen to it with the engine running all the time look at an uprated alternator, possibly one from a diesel corsa??

Yea, but 2 subs, even if they're 1000w wont need 2 batterys really. Just one hi spec battery, more powerful alternator, upgraded wiring and possibly a power cap would do.

no, depends on power rating of amps. if he underpowers the subs, then it doesn't depend on power rating of subs, but the rating of the amps he choses instead.

fair enough you should buy an amp to match a sub (or vice versa), but it does depend on power of amps

Na, get a higher spec battery, a new alternator, upgrade all the wiring to and from your alternator and battery with 8ga wiring. Then if ya want mega deep bass you could probably use a power cap with not much hassle. You should also use 8ga wiring from the battary to the your distribution block near your amps.
