I thought Griffin but for the same price ACE will use stronger Driveshafts from the fitting kit AND stronger 2.0l C.V's, the ONLY downer being its a breakers yard but if anywhere knows about vauxhalls it would be a vauxhall only breakers yard and PLENTY of stock for them to use ;)

this is why i am getting my conversion done this weekend with beardy if all goes to plan. Well, taking it up this weekend and getting it back next weekend. Again, £1500 drive in drive out, excluding the suspension.

Yeh thats why i may not bother fixing my 14XE and just stick a C20XE in instead. Its all down to how much mine is going to cost to fix.

yeah well dont m,ake the mistake i did, i decided to swap me engine i had a fooked C16XE so put a good C16XE in, it turned out to be a bad engine, instead of biting the bullet and chucking a C20XE in i decided to fix the engine i had, trust me the C20XE would have been about the same price as fixing mine, i have a few regrets

 as much as i would want a turbo an XE is more than enough. Might not even need an XE if mine doesnt cost too much to fix.

Surely the answers would vary depending on the availability of engines at that time?

How much would it cost for you to supply and fit an XE 2litre 16v? I already have the suspension and brakes. |
