U want something like this:

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3124&tab=2

Or the Vibe Blackbox IV.

Ideally u want a monoblock.

You either want a mono amp that puts out 700wRMS at 2 ohms or a 2 channel amp that puts out 2x350wRMS @ 4ohms

lol, thanks for the info mate.

so do i need a 2 channel amp?

does ur mate have the same car? and same battery?

Different cars have different power batteries and alternators. And also kenwood subs are far better than Vibe subs.

The main problem you got is the legacy amp that you are using. You should NOT be using a Class A/B 4 channel amp to drive subwoofers. And Legacy amps are just pure shite. Their power ratings are realistically less than 50% than what it says on the tin.

well how come my mates single 12" sub seems to sound better then mine and u can feel your insides shake and hes just got a normal battery and alternator like mine?

You need to have decent cabling, a decent battery, and an upgraded alternator for big noise.

You've gotta be prepaired to spend alot of money to achieve that much noise.

and once i get this new amp then will the bass sound much better.

it sounds ok now but i want ppl to hear it from the outside from about 50 yards away

The Vibe black box 4 (IV) is the amp suited to that box, but if u can get a kenwood with a similar spec. then go for it.

do u know which vibes i mean?

its the ones in halfords at 300 quid

so do u reckon kenwood wold be a good amp? or cud u reccommend me a better one?

Ally

To run the 2 Vibes u want a decent class D (mono block) that puts out about 700 wrms at 2 ohms.

Corsa_4eva

well its a 4 channel amp and its bridgeable, any good amps you can reccommend me then

problem u have there is mostly the legacy amp, their power ratings are absolute cack compared to what they say

ive got 2 12" vibe subs run by a 1000 watt legacy amp but they dont sound as deep and loud as i want them to.

my mates got 1 single 12" kenwood sub and his seems to sound better than mine

anyone know of any decent 12" subs i can get that will wake my neighbours up from at least 50 feet distance
