Dont bother doin it! Had to do it on my 1.6 sport cos i had a Velos pulse 450 (plenum)
U end up pulling loads of moisture in to ur engine which gunks up like mayonaise in the pipe and blocks the breather!
Makes it run like a pile of cack and think ur head gasket has gone with all the gunk!
Ended up plumbing the breather back in.

IT's beeter to leave the breather system as is, as it creats a low pressure region round the crank. low pressure = lower resistance. Breather is only worth doign on TB's cause you don't have a single TB's to connect to.
Plus oil fumes are toxic, and hence bad for you to breather in!!

might just be me
but it make the engine smell like a real engine :boggle:

it does help a little but not by a massive amount

Its not going to give you any advantage unless you have a particular reason to do it. If you want to vent it just stick it in a plastic bottle with some holes in the top, you'll then see what your venting.
