ok your pedal is just a lever atached to the clutch cable.

if you pull it up your just creating slack in the end of the cable.

there has to be some tolerance in the pedals so you can adjust for cable stretching and clutch wear...

same for throttle except just cable stretch

If you put your foot under the pedals, onto the clutch pedal comes up the way as well as travelling to the floor.

clutch pedal has travel due to the clutch plate wearing... i don;t really know what your asking.
