libertine i'm affraid you have trhe same engine and ecu as me..... they use a motronic 1.5.5 ecu and have different pin outs to other corsas.

long story short, you can't do a paperclip test :(

have to get it plugged into a diagnostic machine of some sort.

ive connected the paper clip but one of the pins ive to connect has no metal in it so no connection is being made? any ideas???:boggle:

When i had an interview for my uni place i had to do loads of tests, one was to name as many uses as i can for a paperclip

In 't' fuse box, more of less under the steerin wheel... get ure manual out... tells ya in there :thumbs:

its not under ur bonnet, its in the drivers foot well

im gonna do the paper clip test but wasnt sure if i can do it on my car? its a 1.2 16V S-reg?

ive had a look under the bonnet and not sure where the plug is? any help would be appreciated! :thumbs:
