ok cheers, cleared it up a bit for me :D

ok another thing

i got a 600RMS kicker amp, would i be better off running 2x300RMS 12s or 1 600RMS 12?

for rnb & garage i would either go for 10s or 12s..only difference between is that the 12" will beable to go lower, and the bass will be deeper. However, the kick and punchy-ness of the bass/kicks will be lesser than that of a 10".
So depends what your after? :) Personally i would stick to 12"s, since you can wack anything on and it will still sound nice :)

Eitherway, i would wack them in a sealed box, they sound better

RnB isnt that quick, so 12s would prob be better, possibly 15s. I listen to hardcore most of the time, bit of jungle and DnB too but i went for 12"s, and hardcore can be up to 185bpm!

cheers :)

im not major worried about how punchy they'll be, just wondering that if i put them in a ported enclosure will they drop lower?

oh and are 10's better for Rnb, garage compared to say two 12's?

ill be giving them both 300RMS each

2 10s will be very punchy in a sealed box and would be good for garage or RnB etc In a ported box they will sound alot more bassy, but like DF said it wont be as punchy as if they were in a sealed box.

TBH, get 12s as they are a good all rounders and in a sealed box they will offer enough bass on drops/bass notes but will still have some punch for the quicks kicks etc

ported enclosures drop lower but aren't as punch as a general rule, and the enclosures have to be bigger. A lot depends on the specific sub model too, some work better ported than others

what would they sound like? would they drop deeper because that are in a proted box?

would they still be quite punchy?

i listen to all sorts of music

or am i better of going for sealed, or possibly 2 12s sealed?
