if u go for a kenwood head unit then there is the possibility that you mite be able to keep your radio station name display (RDS display) on your dash. for the old corsa's you could buy a kenwood interface called a KPA-SD100 which would interface your new stereo with your steering wheel controls and/or on-dash display.

i've never looked into whether this unit will work with the corsa C as it costs bout £100 and personally i dont think its worth it

or just cut the blue wire in the loom for the headunit itself

if u want to keep the date showing whilst an aftermarket stereo is in u'll have to leave the remote wire undone, its the blue wire behind the headunit. otherwise with the stereo connected with the remote wire joined.. the date will go off as soon as u turn the stereo on

you can get the facia from any audio auto shops or vauxhall. and yes you will lose the radio station bit, but will keep the road temp and clock
