yeah think i will buy a new one, not sure whether to get new cable guide coz its prob that thats gonna break off first. Looking at it closer and if you pull pedal up then attempt to press it it then tries to jump out and strains plastic.

nah, noise def comin from cable end / plastic guide , looked at it from underneath dash and can see when pedal pressed its pulling sideways out of guide, its gonna break soon. Should there be a metal clip over it or something ???

hi all, got a bit of a prob with me clutch cable, started making crunching noises sometimes when pedal pressed, i did change cable (genuine vaux) and clutch about 18 months ago. Had a look at it and the pedal end is twisting out of the plastic ! Should there be something there to hold it ? if not then whats making it try to jump out , looks like soon itl snap the plastic off the end !!! |
