whats a EGR?? my car keeps stalling at junctions and if it dosnt the revs get really low as if its about to! trying to find a solution | |

mate, dont use wd40, use some sort of degreaser to clean all the crap out of it! | |

Right, i took the idle solenoid off and sprayed it with wd40... it comes off choke more smoothly but the problem still occurs. | |

When i'm stopped at light and then try and pull of it quite often loses power almost on the verg of stalling. | |

I guess thats the same as an ICV. Probably the same part as fitted to the 1.4/1.6 16v. It winds in and out, so if its gumed up it wont function properly. Im actually selling a pretty much brand new one of these on ebay at the moment... | |

My 1.2 16v has an idle control solenoid... is this the same as an idle control valve? |
