i have a BFO on my 1.2 8v. Its sounds so loud and its great. need lots of cold ar. Going back to standard airbox i think as my car seems to be alot smoother with the airbox | |

i had a drilled air box and i changed it for a pvd bfo cone :) i dont want to go back to drilled air box !! as long as u put a cold air feed :) ... other wise it was poo | |

not bein stupid but wen u say drill air box do u mean drill little holes in it? any 1 got any pics so i can do mine also would it b ok with standerd panel filter 4 the time bein? | |

yesh definatly, get a decent panel filter aswell - K&N is about 30 notes!! | |

i drilled my mates 1.2 8v airbox the other day and its alot louder than we both expected since my corsa c is quite quiet with it done | |

Do as above, but plumb the pipe into your airbox. It's all good!:thumbs: | |

Fit a cold air feed. Vent pipe 1m long, from lower grill infront of radiator to underside of the cone with cable tie :thumbs: | |

Induction kit sucks in hot air since it sits too close to the engine, do a search/read the sticky at the top of the forum!!:thumbs: | |

go back to ur drilled air box, and buy a performance pannel filter (about £30). | |

I have a 19941.2 8v corsa b and drilled my air box it sound good but all my mates were saying get a induction kit , so i went out and got one i fitted it that day and the car started to drive like it had been doped up .It was very sluggish and kept on slowing down can any body help me and let me know what is wrong with the car and should i put my airbox back with a panal filter or is there another way of bringing my car back to life please help |
