what i think he means is, on my h-u, the wires seperate with the connectors so there will then be two red wires and two yellow wires, i think u connect both the red + yellow coming from the car wiring to the red wire going into h-u, am i rite?

errrrrrrrrr, if ur looking at the original factory wires, then i believe the two yellow wires are speakers (does one of them have a grey stripe?)

If you are looking at the o/e wires then u wanna change over the red (pernanment live) with the black (ignition live)

then again i may be talking bullshit as i did this ages ago and cant remeber

or just cut and twist the wires together then tape them up

swap the red and the yellow wires round, some wiring looms have lil bullet thingys in them to do it easily...

others have a fuse that you can move to a different position...

others you have to cut yourself and maybe put bullet connectors

Hey ive seen this mentioned loads of times but never really taken much notice of it until now. Every time I turn the ignition off on my Corsa i lose all the custom settings and radio stations from the memory, i know its got somthing to do with cutting a wire at the back but not totally sure what to do?
Thanx, Mike
