please tell me how a mild solvent which evaporates in less than a minute will damage a thermister which quite often is coated with oil/carbon that comes from the breather pipe connected to the air intake ;). | |

btw carb cleaner is just an aerosol based solvent,cleans any oil/carbon off and evaporates very quickly. dinna use it in a confined space though or you will be flying :lol:. | |

buy a tin of carb cleaner spray from halford and give it a good spraying ,the crap will just run off. | |

Ive been havin problems starting it takes a few times to fire up once its started its a bit grogy for a minute or so Ive been told to do this thats all | |

well the oil from aftermarket air filters can cause probs with air flow meters so there's one reason for cleaning it | |

Can someone please help me on how i clean the air flow meter on my 1.6 sport. |
