well the rear wheel cylinders push the shoes out over right, well if they arnt adjusted the shoe are further away from the drums so the cylinder has to push the shoes further out which in turn gives more pedal travel | |

hmmm still dont get it mate, cant see how the handbrake adjustment affects the travel on the brake pedal?? | |

yeah but if its not adjusted it makes for lots of peddle travel which can be mistaken for a spungy one | |

if youve blead the system n theres no air mate how many klicks has your hand brake got, should be around 3-5 if thers loads jus adjust your rear brakes up | |

ive just fitted a new set of red dot disks and pads. i took the calipers off to clean and paint them as well. ive refitted them all and the pedal feels really spongy even after bleeding them 3 times. there dosent seem to be any air in the system but theyre still spongy! the pedal travels about half way down before u get any real pressure. there isnt a leak and hoses look fine. |
