If i had a rev guage then i might know when to change, currently i am doing the following:

1st = 0-25
2nd = 25-40
3rd = 35-65
4th = 50-75
5th = not even worth using, gets u no where

i didnt realise u had a 1.2 transplant in ur veccy? prolly what i would have to do to even get insured on one :lol:

keep the revs to around 3k for starters i know how temptin it is to redline them just to get somewhere in time :P

also i noticed an increase in fuel intake after gettin my zorst and filter so i guess u have to live with that part too

no idea mate, but whatever you do dnt blip the throttle even if car sounds like its bout to cut out coz it will mess mappin of ecu up.

cheers people, i have already tryed resetin the ecu but i think i will do it again. is there anythink i can do to get more miles from it. its a 1.2 8v by the way.

I think my car may be running a bit rich as i am only getting about 210 miles to £30 instead of about £250, i have lately put on a k&n pannel filter and a sebring straight tho pipe and backbox. Do u think if i have a tune up then it will sort it out. Soon i will be getting a piper cam kit and skimmin the head and will this make a differnece.
