Fitting a power boost valve won't make your car run richer, the ECU is programmed to run as lean as possible before detonation occurs. If you ustart tryna swamp fuel in, it would go into limp mode.

What you need is something to tell or overide the ECU like a Dastek setup. Superchips in my estimation seems to let the engine pink (detonate) like a bastard, obviously terrorising the ECU's and associated sensors, anti knock system.

Mate I told you to do the velo's torque tube the other day! - then get a decent chip that can be mapped!

I'm considering a Power boost valve for the fact my car constantly runs lean :S

I have 2 brand new ecotek valves if u wanna buy them. Me and my bro bought them about 2 years ago for £100 for both. But never ever actually fitted them on. In fact its still in its orignal envelop that it was sent to us in. Havent even opened it from the box :(

what do u mean work well with a 1.4?

power? power wise no improvements at all

boost valve wont be any use to u unless u have a very highly tuned car, and in that case id just put in better injectors

ecotek valve, well tbh cant see the point in them, if u drive long distances then i can see the saving in fuel, but if its just a run around then id leave it

can't comment on ecotec valve, but a boost valve is only of value if yo've had the engine tuned at all and need to adjust the fuelling. if yo udont I'd save you money.

I dont know if this query has been posted before so sorry if it has. I was wondering do either or both of these work well on a corsa 1.4 16v? Cheers
