then it would leak when standing still aswell.when they leak when running only it's normally a seal thats gone

think ive found out wat it was, spoke to a vauxhall boy today at work, he says vauxhall use cork sump gaskets and that ive probably upset it.

correct, it only leaks oil when its running

done that, the oil will run down to the lowest point before dropping off, it drips between the gearbox and sump, but i dont think its cumin from there. any more ideas?

find out where it grounded out and look

also park car over sum news paper to get a rough idea

and trace it back to the source

following my m8 last night n he led me down this farm track with loads of pot holes, goin over a fairly deep 1 n it grounded, now ive got a small leak! its a 98 1.4 sport, has any one got n e ideas where it could be coming from? im guessin either sump plug or sump gasket? n e ideas?
