CV's dont come with the kit.
Is it a 16v conversion? If so you need CV's off an astra GTE or anything that has the 20XE as standard. Also you will need new crosa wheel bearings.

I used reconditoned CV's @ about £50 each.

Did you get the spacers in the kit? (they look like large washers) these have to go on the outer CV's before they go into the hubs.

you really dont new brand new ones, some from a scrap yard will be fine.

I was told this just now off someone not on corsasport - E or F reg off a mk 1 Cavilier has to have a 1600 engine

think it was about £570 I am going to ring up cos its shocking really we got driveshafts and hubs engine and gearbox mounts anti roll bar brackets powercap and induction kit

My mates going to give a company he gets his bits off on Monday to get brand spankers to be on the safe side, hope these aint going to cost a fortune cos I just dont have the cash at all

not sure about vox. your best of ringing a specialist breakers, unless you fancy taking em off in the mud!:thumbs:

If I get the cv joints off an astra GTE will that cure the problem mate how much will I be looking at for these ? if I cant get em from a scrappy and I have to go to vaux how much will they charge

so if karnage has a 2ltr kit and has cv joints of a 2.0 16v astra gte this will all fit and work spot on?

no, theyre not with the kit, pick some up from a scrappy, shouldnt be too much

When purchasing a conversion kit such as the m tech version, we have new driveshafts and hubs should we have new bigger cv joints to connect with or do we have to buy them or should they already fit I am going mad here bloody cossvaux pleasen help someone Regards Paul...:thumbs:
