I still say drill the airbox and get a panel filter will only cost £30 tops and it doesnt make it sound better IMO.

Not bad mpg. I often get less than that with standard . Must have a heavy foot.

Ive madeup my mind though. Ill wait for a good sounding car for when I can afford one with a bigger engine.

All audio stuff I get wont be wasted, I can just transfer it to my new car when I get it!

I never said I wanted one - I was just asking about it :P ...... if it didnt use much more petrol (mpg) then i would consider it to get more noise from the front of the car....

However it seems like they use alot so I will stick with what I have got :D

yeah you will get less mpg as it's sucking more air in.don't sound that good on a 1.2 either

So both of these wont alter the mpg?

How much would it cost? Could I do it myself, or would I have to pay a garage?

Any sound samples showing the difference?

I was wondering if there is a way of improving the sound of a Corsa C SXi without it impacting on the mpg (I would ask acceleration too, but surely thats impossible without affecting the mpg?). I will be commuting a large distance every day come the summer so I need the mpg to stay as it is.

I dont want to be able to hear it from two miles away, I dont care about the loudness, just the sound Im interested in. If there is a way, are there any sound samples online for what it would sound like?

Thanks
