just grab the kit from vaux, then take it to a garage not vaux tho the'll rip u off, i had mine in my center con. on my fez and it only worked when the key was in and ure not moving set my back 70 notes:thumbs: | |

hmmm i was wondering about this awell as im hoping to get smooth boot soonish. I have an alarm but i dont think it can operate extra solonoids seperatly. Any ideas?? | |

The new fiesta has got a button on the dash to pop the boot and also a button on the key fob that opens it...Must be possible to just put the switch somewhere else. | |

oh right i thought i cud just wire it up and say fit a switch hidden in my ash tray, then just push that when i want to open the boot?? | |

I'm having my button fitted in my petrol filler cap. It's gonna be wired up to the ignition live so that the button only works when the ignition is turned on. Anywhere else and the boot shuts before you got a chance to get in... Other choice is to wire it up to your alarm so it pops when you press a button on the keyfob... | |
