idle air control valve. when idling this limits amount of air comin in cz when foot off accelerator the throttle aint open. this opens it slightly and moderats the amount of air in, if it gets dirty it struggles-hence the altering idle | |

take it off and use degreaser on it, look in haynes manual for details on how to remove it and where its located | |

sounds like fuel probs matey when its hunting like that maby throttle position sensor any1 else ? | |

corsas are common for muck build up in the iac valve. just clean it out buddy. | |
