Surely your mate would be better off developing/building something that punters will want to buy?
Nobody in their right mind will want to spend more than a few quid trying to make a 1 litre 'faster'....

yes twin webbers for a 1.0 would need a custom inlet manifold, and im 99% sure no1 has made one, just purly for the fact its nowhere near worth the money for the power u get

if u were to stick webbers on ull need a custom inlet maniofld for them, i doubt anyone will have made one! itll all be worthless as ull only get small gains! end of the day i wouldnt waste my money but if its ur mates go for it lol

2l will cost you 1.5k absolute tops. you can buy a astra or cavvy 2l, use brakes, engine block, drive shafts ect for about £400, spend about £400 putting it in. put the brakes on yourself. then spend about £500 on suspension at most

broster

well if you aint gunna be spending the money on it then yeah go for it!
